Examples of Aesthetic Treatment For Character Design: Stills

The styles I have in mind for this project are quite digital art styled. They aren't realistic and have seen brush strokes and layered to give effect.

Block coloured, no textures, limited colour palate

Visible brush strokes, little blending (I would make less realistic)

Flat style, little texture, also exaggerated features of the dogs that are really effective

I like style of animation where it is created in a 3D program but is painted give it a flat, cartoonish look. I found some examples of this:

My favourite example of this style is in "Feast". A short film by Disney that won an Oscar for Best Animated Short, 2015. I deleted the link because it was taken down from YouTube because of copyright reasons. I thought the making of this was very interesting.
